For those who don't mind spending 2000 Qantas points, these are currently $322.51 (2,000PTS + $307.51 + $15.00 delivery) at the moment on the

  • Be mindful if you plan to use it for multiple devices, you actually have to disconnect and reconnect using settings to connect it to a new device. The old ones had a single button press device switch - this one doesent.
Bose seems to be going backward with their software.

  • I own one of these. I can't recommend them.

I don't find them comfortable at all. They hurt my ears. When you first put them on, they feel fine. After about half an hour, it hurts. And the gels are proprietary so you can't replace them Comply tips.

The design of the touch pad is also very limited. Even though these are big, you have only one operation: double tap. The WF1000XM3 has single tap, double tap, triple tap, and long press. The samsungs go further and have swipe left/right and up/down.

With this big an ear piece, you can't tell me Bose didn't have enough space to implement swiping, or at least multiple tap gestures. This means you can't control your music with them. Can't do next/prev track. All you can do is double tap for a single function on each ear piece. Tapping them is what ends up hurting my ears. It jabs the ear gel into my ear which hurts after you do it a few times.

I rarely used these as a result. But the noise canceling is pretty good.

Bose has recently updated the software to include swipe gestures for volume control. You can also customise the gestures in the app to include for track skip.

That comes at the cost of some other function. Still can't go prev track. You have very limited functions. When I used them it was one function per ear.

They should have also included swipe gestures for next/prev track.

        • Hope it comes via future update since it is just modification using existing hardware..
