      I use the battery ones everyday and I’ve changed the batteries once in 2+ years, think my last batteries have lasted 18 months

      Non rechargable.

      Came with AA batteries…guess you could use rechargables yourself.

      Several months so far…no sign of going flat, yet.

  What's the difference between this one and your links for the basic black/white?

  Is it just the colour, or do the basic ones have more basic functionality?

    All the same. The rechargeable (built in lithium) one might be more useful if you don't wanna replace AAA or rechargeable AAA's once every year or so.
