Kingston A2000 M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD $138 Free Shipping/Pickup @ Centrecom

270

Looks to be a part of the boxing day sales. Ends 31/12 at 11pm and seems to be $1 cheaper than the last Centrecom deal so I just picked one up myself.

Way too many Decent, not the great, good enough for me price posts on OzB lately.

Let's chill and wait for those bargains.

Yeah very true. I just know the sub $140 deals tend to be missed quite often by myself, so I feel some people may be in the same boat and wanted to help out where I can. Hope those bargains appear soon though :)

Does this still have BSOD issues?

  • I would pay an extra $3 and order from Amazon AU just for their easier change of mind return policy.

I would save $3 and order from a local, small business.

until something goes wrong, and you need to return it and they (profanity) you over for their own profits. Or they just list false rrps for their "sales".

As a consumer, it's easier to get issues handled with a multi-billion-dollar company as they will be happy to refund your bucks to maintain their reputation. Having said I always have huge respect for people like yourself who is willing to take the risk and support the local small businesses - even though I prefer not to.

As a consumer, once said multi-billion dollar company drives out these smaller businesses, you're not going to see any more "bargains", and you'll be paying a lot more for everything.

          Very short term thinking.

@Starcraftmazter: You are right. Absolutely! Im a short term thinker. Thats why I got a huge respect for visionaries.

      • Not everything on Amazon is sold only by Amazon. Many small Australian businesses use the power of the brand to sell their merchandise on the website.

  • Is SN550 better than this? For gaming

I asked myself this same question, and decided it hardly mattered after looking at tons of reviews and just bought whatever was cheaper. Got the SN550 for $129 pickup from PCByte

      • You are right. It hardly makes any difference for everyday use. But if you do a lot of productivity type work the it will likely be more noticeable.

  • Compare to this, which one is faster https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/594242

    • They are not really distinguishable in everyday use. Almost every benchmark I've watched showed that. Slight difference to a sata SSD but otherwise hard to tell.
