Today i found a $624.39 shipped Seiko SARB035 (Amazon AU) which normally is around $1,000+ as it had been discontinued. Purchased straight away. Checked again few hours later the price went up to $1,007. However, there are some that were sold by Amazon US for $623 +$10 shipping but in stock in February 20, 2021. Still, this is a great bargain given the spec of the watch:

Lume: Indices and hands

Movement: Seiko 6R15 with 23 jewels and 50-hour power reserve

Nice watch, considered buying it last post (May 2020) and have been tracking the price since, seems it has been sitting around $600 for a while, then recently jumped back to $1000.

    • I was considering this timepiece and checked on early December and it was still $1,000+. Not sure since when the price became $600ish but i was lucky i guess… ✌️

  • Wow that’s a gorgeous watch

  • Is warranty covered in Aus given it’s sold by Amazon US?

  • Back up over $1000 for Amazon AU seller.

Who is the seller at $623?

    • It will be $1007 by default, choose Amazon US as the seller

  • I got a cheap Seiko 5 and its accurate to within 5 sec/day. If I was spending that much money I would go for a Sportura.

sporturas arent saught after and wont increase in value

        those sarbs obviously are

        • Sportura is holding its value. The FC Barcelona has increased significantly. But I don't buy watches to resell.

I'm actually interested in ana-digi Breitlings which can go for $1000USD second hand.

      • SNZF17 "Sea Urchin" with a metal bracelet. I won it new on ebay for $116AUD.

        • They’re not on the same level. Both are great watch, i own SNZF17J but i guess SARB would have better details overall such as build quality, bracelet, sapphire crystal, better movement, etc.

If you can't get a SARB035 for the Amazon price, I got mine from Shopping in Japan and their current price is $658.

Just a note to anyone who's thinking about buying from Shopping in Japan, the $658 price is in USD (around $850 AUD).

This is a very common price for this watch on Amazon. The price normally goes up when someone buys one and the Amazon algorithm kicks in, greatly inflating the price, before reducing again. The strength of the AU $ is helping things slightly.

    • Bang on. Someone must have bought one because it's back up to $1000+.

      • the ine from amazon au is 1000, choose the one from amazon us
