Just a heads up for anyone expecting this to be similar the Hyrule Warriors: Enhanced - it's not. There is far less content (no 5 years of DLC to pad) and the game runs terribly on my Switch. Sub 25fps even when not fighting a large group

    • It runs fine on my switch. I got it for the Zelda story after BOTW and haven't played previous warriors games.

Decent button masher but nothing special.

    • Runs fine on my switch. Only complaints are that the draw distance is very short and the game is kinda boring. The cut scenes are the only reason to play it imo

    • It has acceptable frame rate most of the time through my playthrough. Co-op is awful though, low resolution split screen and constantly low frame rate.

    • It also runs pretty good on my switch. Played for like 5 hours today and like 30 hours total. Pretty addicted atm i think it's amazing. I played Hyrule warriors definitive edition for ages too. Theyre both good but id rather play this one.

  • It is not my kind game too but thanks for posting

  • Don't bother

  • The push for BotW matching visuals definitely comes at a cost to the game's overall performance, but the worst hits to frame rate are mainly during special attacks where all kinds of visual effects are covering the screen, while you're locked into special animations anyway (where you're also invincible).

It's still decently playable even with split-screen coop, where even a 12 year old who's new to the Warriors gameplay style could still easily pick up the controls and play along (independently completing mission objectives) with almost no hand holding… He did find it a bit hard to come to grips with the Divine Beasts sections of the game though.

  • Same performance as the forest in Zelda

  • review is kind of mixed.

  • DISCLAIMER:
This is not another BOTW. It is a dynasty warriors type game i.e. it involves hacking and slashing at huge mobs of enemies.

For anyone that is interested but is scared away by reports of frame rate drops, there is a free demo on the nintendo e-shop you can download. Note that the first mission is notoriously laggy so at least play beyond that point before you make up your mind. Personally, I thought it was only okay even disregarding frame rate issues.
