Have tried these, not my favourite even at $3. Burnt flavour.

Might be your machine, I get the 10s and they're great.

    • Your machine is knackered…

  • I was recently given an aldi capsule machine as the owners bought a fancy new one, will these work? Been waiting for some pretty cheap ones to give it a go and see if it's any good?

    • nope, these won't work with the Aldi machine. Stick with the Aldi pods for it.

    • Nope! Aldi machines don't use nespresso compatible pods but expressi compatible ones.

  • I got a L'or pod machine earlier this year (the one that takes normal or XL size pods) and I love it… except it does not work with anything but aluminium pods. No biodegradable, no plastic, nothing.

I only say that to point out that these pods work with the L'or machines.

Odd! as long as it is nespresso compatible pods, it should be working well. I used all kinds of pod materials you mentioned above.

    • I had no problems with Podista or Lavazza plastic pods in the same L'or machine as you, however the old Vittoria individually wrapped plastic pods were no good (I bought some on clearance and half the time it did not pierce the pods).

I generally stick with these Moccona or L'or Aluminium pods though.

yeah I get about 50% success with non metal pods. I contacted L'or and they said the machine only supports aluminium pods. So it's really a matter of try and cross your fingers
