Converse in US - Will Not Ship to Forwarding Service, Options?

My eldest would like some Converse Scooby-Doo shoes for his birthday.

The particular pair he wants are available in Australia in adult sizes only. Converse in the US have them in kids sizes, but they only ship within the US. Their site indicates they will not ship to mail forwarding service addresses.

I've used Shipito for years and if I enter my forwarding address, it gets rejected. Anybody come across this situation before? If so, any way around it?

Or are there any OZB'ers living in the US currently that are willing to assist? If so, I'd be happy to reward you for your assistance.

  Use a buying service? Com gateway have one, check if shipito have one too

  Agree with using the buying service of one of the USA based forwarders. MyUS will do it for about 5%-10% service fee. Bear in mind they will also collect GST based on the cost of the goods plus shipping

  Are you trying to get directly from Converse?

  I buy Merrell shoes you can't get here. Merrell won't ship here, same as most of the yankee stores, but a few actually do.

  With Prime most of the stores will get you free shipping from, as opposed to the ridiculous $30-50

    Yep, directly from Converse. I use Prime, unfortunately these particular Connies aren't on Amazon.

    Q? Was it worth the extra postage and fees to get that item. Also the conversion from USD to AUD. Would it double the cost of the actual item itself with the extra cost. Hope the shoe fits with sizing.
