    All masks are double-sided
    2 layers cotton (100% cotton)

So they are pretty much useless as masks then since there is no filter.

    • +1

Yep, WHO recommends 3 layers. Why buy something below WHO guidelines?

      • They are all 4x Layers
        2 LAYERS COTTON (100% COTTON)
        2 LAYERS HEAVY MARLET FILTER

        2+2 = 4

        • But unfortunately you stated 2 in your post, you may want to change it to the correct spec

@keengeorge: Sorry for confusion, I mentioned 2 sided.
So, if you buy black+khaki, one side is black, another side is khaki.
I will fix the post description

Think you need to make that much clearer, eg. "4 layers (2 cotton layers + 2 filter layers)"

Your post above doesn't mention the filter layers at all at the moment.

  • But online their webpages say:
"Protective reusable reversible BuyMask mask. Made of 4 layers of completely natural breathable material (100% cotton, gauze filter). Universal size

    2 LAYERS COTTON (100% COTTON)

    2 LAYERS HEAVY MARLET FILTER"

    Which is true?

    • yes, it is 4 layers mask
1 layer cotton (outside) + 2 layers market filter (inside) + 1 layer cotton (outside) = 4 layers

      • +1

But unfortunately you stated 2 in your post, you may want to change it to the correct spec

          Fixed! Thanks :)

  • What are the dimensions of this mask? For example height and width? (So that we can compare to other masks)
Are the 2 filter layers removable/replaceable?

    • +1

Length = 21cm (in the middle)
Width = 13cm (in the middle)
It is universal size. One size suitable for both men and women.
2market filter layers are inside of the cotton layers and can't be replaced. You can wash it in the washing machine.
Let me know if it helps.

      • Thanks OP, that was exactly the information I was after.
Seems to be a comparable size to the CottonOn masks I've used, which I find are a bit on the short side.

Got it! Yeah; unfortunately at the moment only available in 1 size.

Please can you give more info on what a marlet filter is,

    Google came up with nothing.

    • Hi!
It is marlet filter. It is also called gaze filter.
      Technologist used WHO guidelines.

      • Thanks for the follow up OP

It’s an open weave gauze and generally I prefer a melt blown filter (better at particle and droplet filtering.

        • Thanks for the feedback. Will past it to our team for the next batch improvements

    What are marlet filters?
It's not how heavey the materirals are, otherwise wearing heavey blankets maybe a better choise.
WHO recommends melt blown filter which can filter out virus effectively.

    • I'll double-check with the technologist and leave feedback here
It was created under WHO guidelines

I'm interested in knowing this as well.
