In my experience its slower than going direct.
But once it's been picked up its been ok.

Roll of the dice of who you get though. typical gets given to lowest bidder. If you paid via PayPal why stress?

Also it's the seller responsibility to get your item to you. So you can chase them up if anything goes wrong.

I've sent a bunch of stuff. Like Jim says the biggest issue is possibly delays in getting the item picked up (although if it's picked up late the sender gets free shipping which is a massive plus for them)

All of my packages, once picked up have arrived quickly and safely.

    • Thank you

What is this thing about free shipping? I doubt any company would do that.

Sendle is just a broker that uses existing courier(s). Its luck of the draw really.
e.g. If sendle picks Couriers please. the franchisee in my area is great with pick ups and delivery.
Local Aramex franchisee is a total lazy and dishonest person(s). So as soon as I see sendle has selected Aramex I cancel or ask the sender to cancel ASAP.

Okay well this is my first time that's why I wasn't sure

    • Id prob trust sendle more over the other option of aus post tbh

I deal with my own customers who use Sendle as a service. It is a luck of the draw service.

Sendle generally uses Fastway or Couriers Please. Couriers please is a fast service and generally no complications. Fastway is quite possibly the worst courier company Australia has. Their times to pick up and drop off are slow, but sometimes they won't even pick up the parcel without you contacting Sendle again.

I believe another thing about Sendle (Unless it's changed now) is that they do not have a phone number easily found online and most of your contact with them is though support requests.

Let me also add. If the ebay seller has chosen Sendle, I wouldn't be worried in the slightest. It's just a matter of if you get your parcel tomorrow or next week.

Well it's coming from Melbourne suburbs

      • Picked up by couriers please

I bought something last year, took an extra week because they kept not coming to pick it up from the seller.

The seller contacted them about it after 2 attempts, apparently the driver just didn't show up to work.

I echo everything said about the abysmal service of Fastway (now Aramex). Out of respect for our customers we will not sign up for the Sendle service so that we can avoid any chance of ending up with Fastway.

  • Thank you to those who gave proper feedback

If you search your emails for the word "sendle" you might find you've already dealt with them before when receiving packages.

Sendle has been fine for the few times I've used them to send. The agents that you drop off the items to seem a bit clueless sometimes but have always got the job done.

  • Updated now picked up by couriers please 😜

I sent something via Australia Post. I too am worried

    • Can never be too safe

  • I have had bad experiences with both Sendle and Fastway. Both delivered stuff to the wrong address. Fastway delivered a parcel to me that was for a totally different address. Just dropped on the doorstep and left. Took four days and endless messages to them to get it picked up and delivered to the correct address. Loathe them both with a passion.

But other people may well have had good experiences. Probably not many though!
