  • Great price on Berocca.

Berocca gives you back your B-B-Bounce!

  • Had these in the past and I like the orange flavour though can it be used instead of a coffee?

    • It doesn't contain caffeine if that's what you're asking. More of a multivitamin: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81oQheItyjL.AC_SL1500.jpg

  • warning.. your pee will be fluorescent dark orange after taking this and smell like chemical

    • +4

Mine is more like a fluoro yellow personally.

      Maybe you're dehydrated?

      • Same, mines dark orange after a heavy night on the sauce

    • Ye… expected.

These things are packed with vitamins, your body can only process/intake so much a day. Mine is usually closer to fluro yellow.

      • I thought it was the colour additives that did that.

Like how Blue heaven milkshakes can turn your poop green

        • +1

From what smarter people than me have told me, its the B vitamins that make urine very yellow, i think one serving of this has a LOT more than daily recommended, but maybe they're trying to pretend to be smarter than me…

    • +1

Normal when taking Berocca or any multivitamin.

  • Good timing just ran out, but deciding if I should switch to multi vitamin instead since I read Berocca contains the bad sweetener linked to cancer ?same as Coke Zero etc….

    • According to their website, the Berocca Orange version does not contain aspartame (they contain Sucralose and Acesulfame K).

    • +3

Aspartame is being used for almost 50 years as a food additive. Long-term studies show people who consume aspartame do not have elevated cancer risks. It's safe.

  • Great price. Was hoping to see the Raspberry Blackcurrant flavour on sale.

  • I'm pretty sure this is what i paid at Coles yesterday.

  • I'm confused about how to select a S&S date on this link: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/subscribe-and-save/myd/preferen…
    ?

I've been taking cold showers using the wim hof method for about 2 months and I love it. Like a natural stimulant. It also made me take stock of all the crap we put into our bodies.

    • Lol, abit random. I tried it for about a week. Too cold.

      • Takes about 2 weeks for your body to adapt, then it feels amazing.

  • Thanks! bought.

  • Hi guys, is this stuff the same as hydralyte effervescence? It should be good for dehydration but what about muscle cramps after a workout? Thanks

    • +1

Nope. These are vitamins and minerals. Hydralyte has salts and sugars, from memory. As well as magnesium and other stuff.

Berocca is more like a multivitamin. Hydralyte aims to directly address dehydration.

      • +1

Hi thanks for the clarification regarding that there not hydralytes. I might grab some to try anyway. I use hydralytes for my 50k walks. I appreciate your comment. Have a great day.

  • These aren’t energy pills. That’s a bit misleading as it makes it seems like an energy drink which contains caffeine or other stimulants. These just have vitamins and minerals.

    • -1

I take these regularly and whilst they so not have stimulants they certainly do give you energy

  • B-B-Bounce indeed OP. These will go straight to the cupboard to join the beekeepers suits that arrived yesterday.

  • Contains aspartame. Phenylketonurics are warned that this product contains phenylalanine , Also contains tabletting aids, artificial sweeteners, colours and natural flavouring.

So pretty much like drinking a can of sugar free soft drink in addition to the vitamins in there.

Probably works better just to take the regular capsules / tablets , putting less shit in your body.

    • The tablets are a shit-tonne cheaper per unit too.

  • I'm new to S&S (and amazon prime) but are you saying that after the price ends so does the S&S save? I thought that was the whole point of S&S or do I have it utterly wrong?

    • The point of subscribe & save is to receive the items reguarly, rather than remembering to reorder. However the problem (for most) is that you pay whatever price the item is at the time, basically subscribe & save does not lock in the price and what you will pay next time is unknown.

      Hope that clears it up.

      • Yeah it does. So the point of S&S is that you don't mind paying whatever the price is at the time not necessarily locking in a price.
Kinda sucks. Considering I just signed up to prime thinking that I'd be using it every month.. sighhh…

EDIT: Forgot to say thanks for the detailed response haha
