I’ve been using for a number of years without issue. Unfortunately just changed as they wanted around $60 to renew.. Lost me forever now..

Can vouch for Nod32, best anti virus out there. Been using it for 15years+, its renowned for its low resource use

    • agreed

      • I just use Windows defender, so far so good
        And Malwarebytes for stubborn shit

    • Agreed too!

This is likely the best EST deal yo will ever get!!

One question, does the key expire? I am thinking of buying 5 and save me hunting deal every year.

    • Same here, I would like to grab a few aswell so I don't have to worry about it for the next 3-4 years

Edit. You can only redeem the $20 once

      • You can setup 4 more account but not sure if it is worth the trouble…..

    • Same here. My current McAfee will expire on next 189 days :))

  • How does it compare to other programs? e.g. McAfee…

    • McAfee used to have a crap rep, when I last touched them many years ago. Duno now.

      • I got it for 1 year free after purchasing the dell laptop. :) 189 days left.

    • Nod32 is less resource hog compared to McAfee

  • Aside from price anyone have any experience with this vs Norton?

Waste of money. Windows 10 has built in antivirus, anti malware, etc.

Potentially a double-edged sword too. Bugs in third-party AVs aren't uncommon and their elevated privileges mean they can be used to attack a device.

  • just a quick load down on my experience on a few of the brands asked:

Norton and McAfee: Too heavy load on resources. Such experience from the old days though….

Windows defender (build in to windows 10): Well if it is that good then we won't be having this discussion do we? You want to risk your data with it? I won't!!

Kaspersky: like the best alternative, the two year five device is a good option but…

When our company was hit by crypto attack few years back, ESET was the only engine that detected the payload. Admitted that was a few years back; none of the above detected the payload. Since that I stick with ESET.

Another dark horse is Bitdefender which got many awards. Its quite a bit more expensive and I decided not to go ahead after the trail and go back to ESET.

    • ditto. Kaspersky sometimes cause system trouble like you intermittently lose network connection for a few sec etc and their support is clueless.

Been using ESET for the past a few years and can recommend the product. the only annoying thing is it displays splash screen every time boot up :/

  • Ordered yesterday, arrived this morning. I'm impressed.

  • Its coming today.. Its fast!!!

Since all the product is is a piece of cardboard with a code on it, have you considered offering just the key? It would be cheaper as no shipping is needed.

  • Looks like the item no longer exists - when I clicked on OP link it directs to Amazon home page.
I searched and it appears in the search result but when I clicked it, again it goes back to home page.

    • oh well, apparently it works now …
  • Received my small cd sized piece of paper in a a4 foam bag!

    • yeh mine came too exactly like that, would've been easier if they just emailed the code to me.

  • It can be activated as Nod32 using the same key if you dont want the extra bloat in Internet Security.

Weird shipping backend. Originally added the $5.99 shipping fee, which was then waived via a free prime triaI. Went to cancel prime today to find out Amazon never actually signed me up, shipping was still free and the 'promotional discount' applied was $25..99

  • Couldn't get the code to work.

  • The code is still working. Make sure the item being added to the cart is sold by Harris Technology and not PCprotekt or Buymedirect. The coupon does not work for other sellers.

  • Best Antivirus IMHO. You actually get 2 different version with this license either the Internet Security Version or the Antivirus only.
I tend to use the Antivirus only version in work environments as doesn't block all the network stuff and makes things easier.
You an change version anytime within the eset software
