  • Does this include the cloud backup?

    • Yes.
Select the plan that includes it.
      Free 250gb for 2yrs potential

  • For all products or just Norton 360?
I'd like to get Norton VPN but not sure if it's included.

My concern not because it’s free. But will ShopBack track the transaction? Even after that will ShopBack pay us the cashback??

    • +4

Unfortunately in agreeance as $240 is alot to spend on a 2 year Premium subscription unless cashback is applied. Perhaps someone can confirm that this cashback is working…

I've got $350 of disputed Shopback cashback already being "investigated" due to failure to track, despite doing all of the right things.
I not new to Shopback and had $800+ of shopback credit work fine until Black Friday, then lots of problems since. Since Black Friday all of my large purchases have failed. I know, my own stupid fault for trusting them. Interestingly, since switching back to Cash Rewards i haven't had a problem.
Bottom line: this would be a good deal if it tracks, but burnt too many times, so major ethical concerns until Shopback fixes whatever has been broken.

Sorry, I would not trust Shopback with such a large amount of cashback.
In my experience so far, they've always denied the larger amounts (always some generic email for reasons).
I've not changed how I handle large and small purchases, so I would avoid them or go CR (who have come good for me time and time again).
edit - you should also put something like "Via Shopback" in the title

  • Just want to double check this is legit and works on the $240 per 2 years premium account? Has anyone done it yet?

    • I messaged their rep here yesterday, still no reply. Their reps are not as active as CR's.

I have the same problem with Cashrewards, they informed me, they have NOT received any information from xxx online store regarding this purchase. So the cash back declined. it happens a lot.

Surely if one has proof i.e. the receipt which would be around the same date/time as the Shopback "click" history they can't deny it?
I always take screenshots of original Shopback or Cashbacks when larger amounts are involved and paste into a Draft email. I also attach the invoice and keep on hand in case needed down the line. Saves searching if a claim needs to be made.

      • Awesome tip!

I take screenshots of the relevant cashback rates, which are always changing, and of the whole checkout process. I even screenshot the click history for larger purchases.

I never thought of proactively saving the screenshots and invoices to a draft email but will do so in the future as searching is a real pain.

        • I've got video of buying a Dell laptop using the Shopback app- i used a second phone because it was a big transaction and I didn't want to take any risks. It hasn't helped.

          • @CacheHunter: What did they say? Can't imagine that they'd reject if you have a video, that they can forward to the merchant and ask them to pay up

            • @MeesusEff: Im thinking of using Geforce Experience to record the transaction next time to be safe.

      • It still doesn't guarantee that they will pay you. Even if you show them the screenshots and the invoice they may say that the merchant declined the cashback and won't pay you.
        It's a lottery.

Agreed but in 100% of my not tracked or questioned ones, this method got me over the line so I always do it by habit.

        • +1

The general garbage I Get from both Cashrewards and Shopback is the merchant has claimed that CR or SB wasn't the LAST click, and therefore THEY Have refused to pay out thus CR or SB won't honour.

IMHO that the merchant won't pay isn't my problem, it's a dispute between the cashback company and the merchant. My agreement is with the cashback company.

  • They have not provided my cashback - now disputing it. This is ridiculous. I made sure to click through directly and to not go anywhere else but completing the purchase after accessing the link. Anyone else in the same shoes?
