what about the gap ? last time I went to my doc it cost me $30
That's up to individual doctors on how they want to charge. My GP bulk-bills for appointments made a few weeks in advance, but charges a gap fee for walk-ins or people who request an appointment within a couple of days.
lol i think you guys miss my point here. I'm looking for a doctor that doesn't treat me like a number is empathetic / caring person rather than trying to get me out the door for the next patient. I recently moved to qld from nsw where i had a great gp.

We first met Doctor Hunter after we moved into the area and with the birth of our first daughter, Gemma.
She's lovely and very personal. I think she always bulk-bills my wife when she takes one of the kids in.
But I realise it's at their discretion.
I think this would just about meet your 20min rule from Ipswich too; it takes us 23 to get to my mum's in Sadliers Crossing.

Dr Andrew Orr at Kenmore. A bit more than 20 minutes. He delivered my brother and me and now sees my children.

Anyone know a good doctor that does Bulk Bill on the Gold Coast. Everyone we have been to is crap and have no idea and some even google the symptons when we are there!
Just change recently to Dr Hunt at Coomera City Medical Centre. Awesome.

Haha I think you're more likely to find medical students than an actual doctor haha. And there was one guy before advertising for his ophthalmologist cousin or something in india who was doing laser eye surgery ._.
Hahaha i feel ya pain, by the grace of God i haven't been sick for 5 yrs since i came over here. But still the GP/doctor here are way better elsewhere in Asia thou …. or are they ?
It is getting worse here Frewer and would be close to being on par with Asia. I only ever go when i'm at deaths door and then most times I end up wondering why I bothered.
I can't fathom how anyone could be in their profession with the lack of interest most of them posess these days? It used to be a proud profession, now I think it is more of a money grab.
Hey mate, i have a few Drs i use. One of them is nigerian - he gives me scripts no questions asked. One of them is chinese - he gives me sick notes for as long as i want.
However when i actually need a proper Dr that knows what he's on about. I highly recommened Dr Joe Costello. 3831-4461. Been going to him for years and so has my dad. Does not bulk bill. He's in Spring Hill, which from me is about 30 mins away, but worth going every time i need to. Also he's white and speaks english!
