Recommendation for a Spare Gym Earphones

Hi All,

I have a AirPods Pro that I normally use at the gym.

At times I have reached the gym only to realise the AirPods with no charge as I may have forgotten to charge.

This has happened a couple of times and I was wondering if its good to have a spare headphones/earphones in the car that I can use.

Any recommendations?

I prefer near earphones as I sweat a lot. Wireless will be great but then I'll have to keep remembering it to charge or if there is one that lasts a long time would be good.

Any recommendations?

I will use the earphones both for listening to music and also for calls so call quality should be good.

Budget is $150 - $200.

Thanks

Lightning cord in the car to charge the AirPods?

    • Yes I have a lightning cord. The issue is as soon as I sit in my car it is used to connect the Apple CarPlay.

Don't you get enough charge for a workout in like 5mins?
Or get a powerbank or something if you really had to…$200 on a spare set of headphones seems like a worse thread than the people saying they won't drop 60k on a car.

    Jaybird Vista

  • So basically you'd be willing to shove $500 worth of earphones in your car just for the Gym….only to then needing to remember to charge two pairs of earphones.

It's a back up, just buy a lighting adaptor and a wired pair of earphones like Sony MDR-EX155AP.

  • i think the main question is what style you prefer. do you want in-ear buds with a complete seal eg. jabra/airpod pro/galaxy buds, or earphones without silicon seal eg. airpods, or bone conduction sets which allows you to hear environmental sounds and does not give you that underwater sensation eg. aeropex

  • samsung galaxy buds

  • buy another 2 airpod Pro and charge them all
chances are u should have at least one with charge
if that fails, buy another and repeat

stop when u have 99 percent confidence that u have a charged headphones at the gym
or when u run out of money
