HP Laptop 15s, 15.6-inch 1080P SVA, AMD R5 4500U Hexa-core, 8Gb RAM, 512Gb SSD $868 @ Harvey Norman

130

Seems like a decent deal for a AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile series Hexa-core based laptop, considering that JB-Hifi is currently selling the Quad-core 3000 series version with a 256gb SSD for $999.

Disappointing screen, 220nits is just a bit too low in my opinion. Ive used 250nits and this that should be the bear minimum so just my two cents! price is good for the specs just the screen seems a touch too dim.

      Not to mention 15.6" @ 1080p!

I love it when a battery duration is listed as "up to" and then some crazy amount of hours. While technically true, still misleading.

EG I can live up to 1000 years..

      Hibernate yourself before you shutdown.

Had an i7 version of this laptop and to say the fan got noisy would be an understatement. It would be enough to wake me up some nights when it starts booting up out of nowhere. Went straight back and refunded.

Judging from the review page, it seems it's also affecting the Ryzen version too.
