eufy Indoor 2k Camera US$39.44 (~A$51.15) Delivered @ Anker Official Store AliExpress

130

Looking to buy the pan & tilt version but it's sold out. This version still has about 45 in stock though at time of posting.

Not sure if this is targeted but on the app when I clicked on the store chat, there's a pop-up where sending the code ILOVEANKER to the chat gives you store coupon US$2 off US$35 spend. Brings the price further down to US$37.24 (~A$48.27)

Edit: further US$3 off using code BRUCE30 from this deal

  • arrival date is 02/05/2021 … thats a long wait of 5 months… price is good but slow delivery.

Looks like it's US dates (i.e. 5th Feb) - if you change it to shipping elsewhere you get dates like 02/25

      • Thanks, then the delivery time isn't too bad. :)

I ordered on the past sale and despite the long published delivery it only took 9 days to arrive. Beware it came with what looked like a European powerplug (two round points), but was a USB adapter so easy to swap for a generic AU plug. It also seemed to ship from Singapore despite claiming to be from China. The model I received did not have the Homekit logo with the QR code and I had to use the Eufy App to enable homekit, I assume this was due to being older stock.

          • @majestic4: are you happy with you purchase or you prefer tilt version for extra $12? thanks.

@DEALS1984: I'm happy enough with it. I think the tilt version is less visually appealing and thus unlikely to get my partners approval…

I recommend my wyze camera that I’ve setup outside. It has free 14 days storage to the cloud plus pay another $20 a year for ai detection of people in order to stop motion triggers from happening all the time.

    • Isn't the people detection only available to US/Canadian users?

      • Person detection works for me in Oz. Wyze have new cameras soon (or maybe already) with upgraded internals etc.

        • Do you guys porky pie your address as being US?

I had another look and Plus Subscription checkout only offers USA/Canada as available countries.

Was payment with card or Paypal?

@deltakilo: Ah yeah need to tell a little porky pie. And using paypal…

            • @Wizballs: My 14 day trial ended today. I’ve paid using PayPal, entered a us adddress and hooked up to a VPN. When I try to activate the cam plus it won’t let me and says go to the wyze website which then has a message telling me to activate it in the app. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

              • @bennybaubles: I didn't use a VPN, just straight up paypal and a canadian address, maybe try that? I really didn't do anything special for this to work…

      • You get 14 days free of the plus plan which has people detection which works in Aus. In 3 days I’ll be going over to the paid plan.

        • the free 14 days is that just one off ? or that means up to 14 days only to record to storage and then delete? rinse and repeat ? im happy to keep just 14 days record.

i dont like the idea of paying subcriptions but i like the AI detection people

          • @CyberMurning: It’s a signup deal. Once you pay the $20 for the plus deal you get continuous recording,ai detection and it doesn’t stop you for getting notifications for 5 mins after the first one.

    • brilliant. have been looking for a nest alternative, thanks!

  • are these compatible with the tuya smart app?

  • Mine turned up today…had the wrong power adapter though..not Australian, just a headsup.

  • Thanks, I grabbed 2 for 98$ today.
