4 months is pretty crap. My wifi doorbell lasts at least 8 months on a single charge and doesn't require me to buy batteries every time.

      • And the only review on the product in Bunnings is to complain about having to replace batteries every 3weeks or so.

I haven't used this but you would expect a doorbell to last significantly longer since it's not having to drive a motor of some sort.

camera streaming is pretty battery intensive though compared to 1.5 second actuator.

Basically clearance of older product without a clearance price..

  • I looked into these a month ago and really bad reviews of batteries barely last a month.

You’re better off buying an Aqara smart lock like the U300, with an M100 or HomePod Mini if you have an iPhone. Battery will last absolutely ages since it’s thread, it has a very good build quality and I have nothing but good things to say about it since I got it a few months ago.

  • I bought the Tapo one, and it’s been installed for nearly 4 months, and it’s at 94% battery. And this is with kids going in and out of the house every 10mins

  • I recommend the TCL D2 Pro utilizing palm vein tech. Managed to get mine for about $220.

  • How come no one mentions UltraLoq - pretty good personal experience with them
