    good price.

razer's rtx 3k series laptops were announced this morning, expect more deals like this.

With the 3060 144hz available for pre-order at $3149, I’d argue this deal is perhaps slightly above where it should be.

These are premium laptops and feel very nice to use in the flesh. Paying $150 for current gen might be a better option for some.

    • that and you can have it with ryzen 5000 series cpus.

Got this with Microsoft couple of weeks back for same price (but was able to save few bucks using AMEX offer)
Happy with it so far, always wanted to own a Razer and i thought it was a good deal to jump on.

More info if you are interested.

Fyi this isn't cheapest historically, from observation. Stores like centrecom and scorptec have had it for 2899 over BF and boxing day. The cheapest I've seen that this model go down to was about 2750 during BF, after a $300 promo code from ebay.

    • Thanks for the info, 3Camels only shows Amazon prices so that is all I was referring to.

I cannot imagine anyone dropping $3k now instead of waiting a month or so and getting a 3060.

    • is that faster?

  • Not much of a deal, expect cheaper prices given that a wave of 3060 has just released

  • Not exactly the same but the 17inch model with 2080 Super just sold for $3199 on eBay.

  • Price on Amazon has been reduced to $2899

    I pulled the trigger and bought a higher model,15.6 4K OLED + 2080Super + 1T SSD for 3600 AUD.

It is the last one and the normal discount price is 3800 from wireless one on ebay, however, they registered another account sydneytec which sells this model for 3600 after applying 2 coupons.

The build-in quality is as good as others commented on ozbargain, temperature is not as low as I thought but still fine, only noticeable downside is , it is very easy to have fingerprints on the body of the laptop.

16 gb memory is a bit low though, will upgrade to 32 or 64 gb after the warrenty for training DL models.
