  • Can't seem to find them in their eBay store,

    eBay Link - $11.90

    • Thanks. Just found it then as well by googling it rather than searching in the ebay store.

  • 0.28 per tablet.. … I normally aim for 0.16 per tablet

    • With this brand there are no rabbits confined in small enclosures , chemicals inserted into their eyes, and the rabbits killed when they're done with after a few days, so there's that. Probably worth 12c.

These were half price ($8.10) at woolies (online special only) a few weeks ago. Tried them but wasn't the biggest fan.

    • Totally agree. Bought at last deal but not impressed by the result. Will switch back to Aldi or Finish once done.

      • Finish seems to work best for me too. Haven't tried aldi ones yet. Do u use the logix complete or platinum?

        • Sorry, can't remember. It was a bit box with 100 tabs cost around $15.

    • Snapped up about 10 boxes during the Woolies sale. Love these Earths Choice tabs… they work really well and the best bit is that they seem to be far gentler on your dishes and especially glassware when compared with long-term use of other brands. Fair few variables involved including the type of cleaning required and the brand/model of the Dishwasher so I suppose it's obvious YMMV.

Regret only getting 6 but at least they’ll last me all year.

We’ve tried them all and found earths choice to work the best with our dishwasher. Aldi is a close second.

        • I actually got six then went back for more :) Not as though they'll go off!

    • I swear they've changed recently.. Used to be the best for our dishwasher, but the last 2 boxes I've bought haven't cleaned as well. Just switched to Aldi to see how they go..

  • I think I preferred the Aldi ones. I know Choice rated them well and things come out clean, but the smell is a bit stale on completing the dishes.

Used it a few times and felt that it left a weird smell once the dishwasher was done. First few times, it wasn't pleasant at all and was very noticeable but after a few times it comes and goes so not sure if it's these tablets alone are causing that smell or if it's a mixture of the debris (leftover stuff) on the dishes, clubbed with the ingredients of these tabs. Don't think will be ordering these again. Will go back to Finish as I haven't had any issues with them.

    • Totally agree!

  • ive heard powder cleans better , can anyone confirm?

    • +1

      It depends on the brand

  • We tried their powder and it was rubbish. Glasses came out with dirt still on them.

Wait - I just checked and it was EcoStore that was rubbish! Not sure about Earth Choice.

Amazingly EcoStore ranked the highest according to Choice but it was definitely the worst powder or tablet we have ever used.

  • Check out the Choice review of dishwashing tablets. It's actually free to view on their site for anyone and has all of them ranked by how well they perform, and has the price and the location they're manufactured etc. These rank top in performance from memory. And they're Aussie owned, methinks, but not Aussie made.

Was looking for ways to clean smelly sports equipment and ended up finding out about the amazing uses of sodium percarbonate. This is the active ingredient in Vanish/Napisan/Oxiclean and apparently works very well in the dishwasher as well. There are different "recipes" (ie https://bloomingmandala.com.au/2019/08/23/diy-dishwasher-tab…) out there, but pretty much if you buy yourself some pure sodium percarbonate and mix with some sodium carbonate (aka washing soda) it is a very effective, eco-friendly and most importantly cost-efficient way to wash your dishes.
