Next Big Sale Day?

Hi OzB community.

I wanted to reach out and see when the next big sale day in Australia is. Are there typically big sales around Australia Day?
I'm looking to pick up a pixel 4a and a 4a 5g but missed the Boxing Day sales so I am waiting on the next big sales day.

    Nope. Black Friday and Boxing Day are the 2 big sale events each year, everything else is quite small and/or targeted towards particular items/retailers (Click Frenzy, Prime Day). Yes retailers might do themed sales for EOFY, Australia Day, Halloween or whatever, but they aren't sale events as such. There isn't another big sale event for a while now, but as for when Pixel 4a / 4a 5g goes on sale that is up to Google and/or the retailers, they could run a promo at any time outside of a sale event.

    Very happy with the 4a 5g. Low light performance of camera is really great. Much better than my Nokia 8.1

    To be blunt, it'll be End of Financial Year sales in June.

    Major Sales in Australia

    EOFY (JUNE)
    BLACK FRIDAY (NOV)
    PRE XMAS / BOXING DAY (DEC-EARLY JAN)

    Most bargains I pick up are outside promotional sales. You just need to keep looking, especially with phones ;-)

      You can set up search alerts on OzBargain too, so it will email you any time pixel 4a discussions or sales appear on Oz Bargain. That's how I saw this. There has not been much action, at least on the 4a. I thought I was being impatient getting mine on the black friday sale, but still haven't seen anything better.

    I'm waiting for some decent sales/promo to get an Apple Watch SE and a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro. I guess be patient and keep checking
