They’ve had this on sale a bit past month. Haven’t been confident enough with the information found online to pick it up yet.

Anyone here had experience with this AIO? Is it a good pickup or would it be worth investing more into something else?

Just FYI, there is a V2 of these coolers and it's not clear which is being listed here. Nothing says V2 but all the pictures show the V2. I had a look through the seller's (Deppcool AU) profile and none of the applicable listings have the 'V2' in the description but I think it'd be safe to say you'd end up with the V2.

I have the 280mm version of the V1 and have had no issues. It's nice and quiet and does it's job well

My brother has the 240mm V2 and I can say the same about it. He paid $169 from Mwave a couple of weeks back.

I was considering the same question. But I had purchased this one at $116.39 in the boxing day flash sales and I received V2 version. So it should be V2 not V1.

        • Same, got V2 for $116ish.

Mine makes a noise from one of the fans when it reaches certain rpm after a couple of months. It looks pretty, cools fine.
      Bought from mwave for $129.

    • I had the V1 of the 240mm, cooler was good, but the rgb on the pump block died, got replaced, died again, and then rma'ed and replaced with the 360mm V2. so far no problems, cools well, all lights work, and my overclocked 8700k sits on about 65°c under gaming load.

    • I have had the V1 for ages, been good. But the RGB does tend to act up ocassionally.

couple of years ago you could pick up quality 280 aio's for a 100 bucks - so much for economic progress in Oz.

dinosaur economy going downhill at an exponential rate…

  • I wonder if this works with the nzxt g12….

Gah 280 will look too small in my o11 case :/

    • Deepcool makes their own units its not Asetek (G12) compatible.

      • Bummer. Asetek patent again. Been researching for a nice looking aio and keep looping back to the same issue.

I really don’t trust myself to go into custom loops.

I would rather buy this instead: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/47194/deepcool-gammaxx-l…
    Its basically the same thing.

      Its basically the same thing

No, t's not the same thing when you are buying one of these for their RGB feature. The one that OP has listed here is A-RGB (ie. addressable 5V RGB), whereas the one you've linked is 12V RGB. It generally needs to be compatible with whichever RGB standard is supported in the build.

(and no, I didn't neg you)

      • Show me a motherboard that has 5v header that doesn't have a 12v header. You can still sync them up but cant address the separate LEDs on the 12v device individually. You're paying $30+ for looks.
