Unfortunately yes.
Tempted to pick up just the cameras for adding to the doorbell kit we just got that comes with a homebase already. Could do with one keeping an eye on the garage and one looking over the living room where our new pug will be.
Wish they made single cameras cheaper, always works cheaper to get the kit with the base unit even if you already have one. Just more waste.
