Thanks Op but no cash back on legos

    • +1

there is and when it comes to Lego cashrewards is much better than shopback as they track full 6%

  • If you have eBay plus , its few $ cheaper there

    • Good find. But with cashback Amazon is still cheaper, and Amazon will let you return or get a discount if the box arrives damaged.

      • Can you actually claim a discount for damaged lego boxes from Amazon????

        • +3

Yes. Use your own compass but personally I prefer to exchange (which is free, but you do need to print the Aus Post label and drop it off at a collection point e.g. Aussie Post). I only ever ask for a discount if (1) the damage is bad enough, (2) there's no more stock for exchange and (3) I can live with the box dmg.

I build all the lego I buy but still retain the boxes and don't like them being completely and utterly munted, at least not on the larger sets (e.g. NES, Disney Castle, Lambo, etc). So if totally munted I'll go exchange or refund.

    • Sorry where is it cheaper on eBay plus? Can’t seem to find a listing that is cheaper. Thanks

      • Toys R Us had just one available which is sold, but Amazon is cheaper anyway, just use cashback (Amazon ~$111 vs eBay ~$115).

  • Cheers. I looked at this at amazon several times yesterday after myhobbies discounted to $118.99, because it wasn't a deal without free post. But amazon kept it at $139.99

I don't think this is a pricematch but it seems to me that Amazon chooses some lego sets where they intentionally delay pricematches. It's rather conniving.
