Bought my Hisense S8 3 weeks ago for less…so this being a KOGAN I really don't consider this as a bargain.

    • Agreed then. Where from?

      • i want one too

      • During JB Boxing day sale - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/592338

Most major retailers were selling around same price as JB. I managed to get it for ~$1370 from TTG by going in store, I then get extra 5% discount on top using TGG GC.

        • Aww man. Kind of mad I missed that but good to know I can probably talk the GGs down more.

@elitistphoenix: I didn't even need to try that hard at all.

Originally I was going to order online then pick up, but thought I'd called the store to confirm stock first. Guy on the other line told me to come in for a better deal.

TV was listed online for $1445 which was already a sale price, walk in store and was offered $1375 without questions asked….

            • @mg_k: Awesome. Might go for a look this weekend then! Thanks

  • Plus shipping.

Wouldn't the Eko QLED be a better buy?

    • Link?

    • yep that EKO QLED had a killer deal. but no more stock though

    • Nah the non qled was better. 700 for this size and Android.

Bought an EKO 75" 4k Android TV for $800 after discounts, not sure if this is really a deal?

    • Where from? (Keep asking cause I'm keen to get something)

        • That's the smart tv (non android/Chromecast).

The one I got is labelled as Android TV

        • Thanks and with my Nvidia Sheild I don't actually care about the smart tv stuff. Frankly I'd prefer it without and without all the telemetry

  • Any experience with how long these take to power up? I find the cheaper TVs take aaages

Not sure about this one specifically, but I bought the Kogan 32 inch for the bedroom and when it's in standby mode, it starts up pretty much instantly.

      This is the specific model

  • Any idea on refresh rate?

    • according to the specs, 60hz

  • Whoever spends over a grand on a kogan TV shouldn't be allowed to complain after
