  I'm not understanding something. I have bought the free book. now to download it seems to say install the app. now it says its free for 30 days and then $16.95 a month

    That's probably the Audible membership, don't need a membership to access your library though.
    I don't currently have a subscription but it added to my library for free so it's working here, thanks

    I just got it for free. Are you using Audible.com.au? If you have a US membership, it is probably not free.
