ONE-YEAR WARRANTY - Guaranteed high quality and reliability with hassle-free parts and labor warranty for one year in Australia.

I had the sub on the S350DB fail after just two months. Edifier agreed to do a warranty exchange, which I initiated a month ago. They don’t send a replacement until they receive the original unit, which is fair enough.

They received my faulty unit but then advised me they couldn’t currently issue a replacement because they don’t have any stock. I requested a refund instead since they couldn’t issue a replacement. They refused multiple requests for a refund. Still haven’t received my replacement unit. I also have the S3000 Pro’s, but I won’t be buying any more Edifier products. Good products for the price, sub-par after sales service. You get what you pay for.

    • What are the s3000pro's like?

    • That's ridiculous. If they can't replace it, they should be issuing a refund.

Was considering buying and this comment put me off. Edifer, if you’re reading here, you gotta sort stuff like this out.

Anyone else have stories about this brand’s support?

      • 12 months ago I bought the W855BT wireless headphones. They were a steaming pile of crap. It would take ages to Pair them to anything, and if it was successful, they would quickly disconnect and 'forget' the pairing. Totally unusable. As I bought them for $75, it was not worth the effort to return them (at my cost) so I threw them in the drawer and forgot about them. A few months later I decided to try them again… still crap. Decided to call their (overseas) call centre and told them the issues. She immediately asked if I had 'reset' them (I didn't even know you could) so she guided me through the process and you know what, they worked brilliantly!

As far as support goes, I couldn't fault it. Of course, why they were sent out in an unusable state in the first place is another story. ;)

    • Hi,

I am a staff of edifier.
at first, i want to say,
It's not just one seller selling "edifier",
      i just searched the order,
but i couldn't find your order about S350DB.
if possible, maybe you can tell me your order number,
we must give you refund if your said is ture.
but if you have never bought from our store,
i think it is not suitable to say all the edifier support is terriable.
      that's too one-sided and misleading.

        Hi Chinglu,

I have no idea what sort of search you did or how you could possibly find my order based on the information I have provided in this thread.

My purchase was directly through Edifier (Australia).

My order number was AU17272. Purchase date was 19/10/2020.

Warranty claim was initiated 29/12/20. Ironically, Australia Post notification received today that the replacement unit has now been shipped (must have gotten sick of me requesting a refund in the absence of a replacement unit being made available).

The customer service rep that I have dealt with is “Kate You“. She is the person that refused my refund request multiple times. She refused my request to escalate the request onto another customer service rep.

I am more than happy to post the full transcript of our email correspondence here for full transparency, since you seem to be suggesting that I am not being truthful?

          Hi,aja12

          Thanks for your reply,
now i know there is a misunderstanding.
          just as I have mentioned,
It is not just one seller or one store to sell "edifier",
we are one of these store,
and we are an amazon store,
we really couldn't find your order,
          you can confirm it.
for your problem, we suggest you contact the customer service to deal with, i believe none store won't refund or replace if you have returned the item.

It’s a bit concerning that your Amazon store is named “Edifier Australia” but you have no direct association with Edifier Australia. Seems a bit misleading.

Ah, good old Kate You. Certainly made it clear in her correspondence with me that the underlying tone was "don't care, stop messaging us".

Albeit this was about shipping delays, and they seem to have outsourced the warehouse and freight part of the supply chain.

  • I bought these a few months back to connect to the tv. Works well, but I hate that the bass/treble setting gets reset every time you turn the tv off (but bizarrely, the volume stays the same).

  • Can anyone recommend the Edifier R2000DB or recommend another set of speakers similarly priced?
Will be used for my x9000h, PS5, and Bluetooth off my phone/Alexa/Google Home

    • +3

I've got the x9000h and a Series X and have the Edifier S350DB and love it!
The sub adds a world of difference

      • Unfortunately I can't use the S350DB due to the right speaker cable length, otherwise I would have bought that one.

  • Bought these on Amazon 2 days ago for $115….

  • Does anyone know if any Edifier speakers have HDMI input? I want to replace my crappy soundbar and I used to use a pair of Edifier Spinnakers that sounded amazing but dont want to go back to using multiple remotes.
