Hopefully they'll have more stock than when they had eBay store exclusives in the past (450 Qbby amiibo and 175 packs of the Sanrio amiibo cards).

And hopefully 1 per customer to prevent scalping.

  • But I can't get the last one without buying a special edition game still?

The Magnamalo amiibo in the collector's edition looks the same as the one that will be sold via the My Nintendo store.

Yeah I saw. That's good news

  • Hope they'll release the Stories 1 amiibo with the release of 2 here.

  • Thanks heaps for sharing. Totally would-be missed this.

Now if only they'd re-release the gold and silver Mario amiibos!

    • Do you know if the "Magnamalo amiibo" is the exact same as the collector's edition one?

      • Looks the same, but I'm not 100% certain if there's meant to be any difference.

Prices seem quite high for Amiibo…

          • @RichardL: Yeah, the BotW Guardian was $29.95 and Gold Shovel Knight $34.95 (which was too much, original at $24.95 was also high) but Palamute and Palico at $21.95 and Magnamalo at $29.95 would have been more justifiable and in line with other amiibo these days.

          • @RichardL: Absolutely, Nintendo really know how to fleece their flock. I'm a massive MH fan but no way I'm supporting these prices.

            • @[Deactivated]: I'm a sucker for Nintendo exclusive…my order was just shipped out…

In other news…my preorder for the collector's edition from Amazon AU has been delayed indefinitely…

The quality on the close ups look…average at best…

    • I wonder if there’s gonna be higher quality figures for MHR soon?
