I was going to say I am surprised there are so many store (with 6 listed by OP), and they also have a Black Rock store! Strangely the Airport West location is not on their website.
I don't know how you can run 7 specialty burger stores in this city and survive given the competition, I guess going by your review they might not be around for long!
They probably rely more on Google reviews vs one person on a bargain site. Chonky might just have been unlucky on the day or their burgers aren't to their liking, or indeed are crap

I guess it's down to personal preference. My partner and I tried several of their burgers when they had the recent 50% promo. We enjoyed every burger we tried, especially the Abraham (fried chicken). I loved that it's properly crunchy instead of the lightly batter version similar to McChicken. Even the smallest burger was quiet filling. Great value at half price.
Been to Burgatory in Footscray twice and both times the burgers, chips and drinks were really good!
Probably the price to get a lame burger not expecting anything exceptional . That my readings of reviews .

Tried them today and the burger wasn't great, I certainly won't be going back for full price. Plus when I picked up the order the guy tried to charge me an extra 20% as it's a public holiday.

I tried two burgers here the chicken one and the basic beef burger. They were the most disgusting burgers I've ever had. The beef patty tasted as though it came from Woolworths, in fact it would have tasted better if it had come from there. The chicken burger was so flavourless, the coating ruined the entire thing, it was like cake batter or flour that I was eating no chicken, just flour.
Not sure if this differs from place to place, though I had it at Black rock. I'd never recommend this place to anyone, save your buck and make your own scrumptious burgers at home!
