  The BT version is available for cheaper at Bunnings, IMHO BT is better suited for a portable thermometer like this, especially if you plan to use it away from your home, e.g: at a picnic site where you don’t have access to WiFi.

  the wifi is awesome, i use it on my meat smoker and rather than have to worry about walking around my house it relays temps back to my phone anywhere in the house. If i want to use it camping i just look at the screen.

  Great bloody devices saved my arse on a roast last night that took off and cooked heaps faster than i had anticipated.
