I could eat all these in 1 to 2 days.

    • +1

No you can’t. Germany originated ones taste ugly compared to what we get in Australia.

  • No Free delivery

    • +2

Isn't it free delivery with club catch.

      • Maybe so, but you have to pay for club catch so it isn't free delivery at the end of the day, unles you can renew the free trial over and over again?

        • +1

Join club catch, get free delivery and cancel the free trial before 30 days so you don't get charged the $6.50.

          • @mckayver: What if you already did the trial?

            • @MuddyClear: Make a new account then. OP never claimed it was universally free delivery in the first place.

Lots of cheap maybe stale Kit Kat? Pass.
"SHORT DATED - Check Ad" - strangely no info!
    Imported by Catch.

    • +2

Best before date is 06/2019. See the photo and printed on the side of box.

      • -4

        2019???
It illegal to sell something that will make you sick?

        • +1

It's "best before", not "use by". It will taste stale and the chocolate might taste a bit off, but it certainly won't make you sick.

        • +1

Obviously you've never walked into either the reject shop or IGA before.
They sell things past their "best before" which are still fine all the time.

Doubt the BB Date is 06/2019 as seen on the pack but a bit shifty they haven't told..

      • +2

Oh - that fine print that is almost impossible to see on a small phone screen!
        Thanks!

        • +1

Yeah I only noticed because I'm using a 65inch 4k TV as a monitor and even then I had to magnify it. Lol

          • +1

            @mckayver: Oh stop bragging😉
In this case IT IS THE SIZE that matters!

They do make it hard to find that vital info!!

          • +1

            @mckayver: username checks out

      • +2

What if it is an old photo? They wouldn't be bother to snap a new one.

        • +1

The photo on Catch states "SHORT DATED - Check Ad" - and that is the only date shown.

Had it with this shit stain company, will never buy from them again.

    • Exactly. Since finding out what they are like, stopped buying their products.

    • Any context? Haven't bought much from them but curious.

  • If it was the dark chocolate version then I would be tempted.

Dark chocolate Kit Kats are the most favoured chocolate treat in our house.

    • Where do you live? I'll come and eat all other varieties of kit Kat for you. You're welcome in advance.

  • Could that be the date of manufacture ?

Even so, wouldn’t touch it, even if free

Not even spudshed would sell this

  • +1

Will probably arrive melted as well, given that Catch is the seller and that we are in the summer season. No chance of a refund if that happens because, of course, it is Catch.

  • Chocolate isn’t worth eating past the best before date. Even when it’s close it already starts tasting crap. Whoever buys this, prepare to be disappointed lol

  • Catch used to have bargains.

    • +1

Catch still has bargains if you play your cards right. Eg buying Kmart/Anko (or Target) products from Catch with 15% off gift cards and 10% off unidays code (or a $15 off $60 code for inactive members).

Sometimes they price match electronics eg phones and you can do the same.

99% of the time, their food specials aren't worth it.

      • Unidays code doesn’t work on Marketplace products?

        • Anko products are sold and delivered by Catch hence eligible. Didn't realise Target sold their own products on marketplace.

Can still find gift cards at a higher rate on Catch than Target (and Kmart).

    More like Kraut Kat, amirite?

  • +1

    17 months out of date.

That should omit "short dated" and insert "vintage".

Doesn't anyone here understand English .
Short Dated means not expired about to .

    • understand English
I don't think there is a legal definition of Short Dated with foodstuff (just Expiry & Best Before Date).

It's simply a marketing term without a definite meaning. And may not mean what you think it means.

This has a Best Before Date - not an Expiry Date!
So it's not expired or about to.

Simply, quality & taste may not be as good after that Best Before Date (long ago).

      • Seeming your the professor I was chucking out my Maggie Noodles Best Before Nov 2019 .
Should I save them from the bin ?

        • "Seeming your the professor"
          Doesn't anyone here understand English😉

I thought you were discussing the meaning of words…
Not the risks of your rubbish..

Fire up the kettle & tell us how it goes.
          I think you'll survive😄

          I follow the maxim…
When in doubt, throw it out!

So I won't waste my money on this risky Deal.

      • "Short Dated" is a handy term to use to avoid giving refunds. You were warned!
        Buyer beware!

    • +1

      You're right. BBD 28/02/2021.

  • +1

I pulled the trigger and I'll post back in a week or so about how they taste.

    • +2

Best before date is, 28/2/2021. Heaps of time.

      • +1

That line in the linked Deal was originally strangely blank…
Now they've filled in that important detail!

Still as commented in Reviews - it's a different taste when fresh to usual Kit Kats.

  • Price has increased to $15!
    So Deal marked EXPIRED.
