What's The Best Mens Underwear

I'm sick of bonds underwear being too tight around my balls. I don't care if I have to pay $50 a pair I just want some good underwear.

What does everyone recommend?

Calvin klein modal boxer briefs. can get them for 50% pretty regularly throughout the year

I used to wear Bonds which made it really sweaty and would ride up literally every step i took. Tried normal CK cotton underwear, bit of an improvement but not much. Then tried the modal.

It's absolutely heavenly and you can hardly tell you're wearing them the entire day

I like uniqlo airism undies. Feels good, like I’m wearing nothing at all. So I check sometimes just in case.

    • Nothing at all!
      Nothing at all!

  • These are the best bar none IMO, get the 'larger pouch' variety if you have a larger package. I used to have the same cramped quarters issues with Bonds etc until I found these and Mundo Unico although they aren't as nice as Obviously IMO.

Step one by far the most comfortable. I was hesitant at first because thought it was all marketing but was I wrong . Before I had Bonds and Calvin Klein but Step One the best I started with one to see the quality with washing and wearing and two months later purchased seven pairs to replace other brands

    • Are they pretty tough? I mainly use a dryer for my clothes and i think it puts holes in my cheap Aldi ones.

    • i got a pair of step one and i don't like them too much.
Too squishy around the pouch and rubbing along the seams.

"My legs… are like tree trunks"

  • AussieBum or Mundo Unico. Both in a size bigger than you normally would have

Under armour - get the 6inch versions if you don’t want them riding up. I prefer the UA tech to the Cotton too. Less chafing.

I used to use CK’s but these are far better. Have converted all my pairs to them now and won’t be going back.

If can wait they usually go on sale for around $10 a pair (in packs of 2/3), either at DFO, UA online outlet or DJ’s. Otherwise maybe $15 a pair in normal sales

  • Kmart trunks in charcoal $20 for 7 pack..

Step one is like wearing skins (compression shorts)

I have these K-mart ones but in the jockeys, which I have had for ages,
time for me to switch over to trunks for awhile. Thanks for the link Danstar

    Uniqlo supima is my pick.

+1 for Aussiebum, although my hubby just wears his usual size - never had issues with sizing being different.

ETA: they often have pretty good sales, too.

    • lols just went to their webpage…..omgawd…..

      • What's funny? I just went to their site too….couldn't see anything out of the ordinary!

        • Well let's just say that I sent the link to a couple of my gay friends and they were very grateful.

          • @EightImmortals: I wondered if that might have been it. I know a LOT of straight guys who wear their stuff - including my husband! Daniel Craig even wore their swimmers in one of the Bond movies. Wearing their undies won't turn you…I promise! ;)

Forget about expensive brands like CK or Aussie Bum, I tried them all.
The best one is UniQlo Airism, at $15 each, sometimes on sale for $10 each.

    • AussieBum on sale are $13 for boxer briefs. $8 for the trunks. Stocked up before Xmas

  • Commando by is null

  • Thanks I'm going to try a few suggestions here and see which are good.

  • Superdry. Natural cotton, dont ride up and look great.

They wash and wear very well as the fabric is quite thick.

  • too tight

    Have you tried "Commando" brand?

  • I usually wear jockey. Honestly I don’t think underwear is that uncomfortable in general unless you’re wearing cardboard underwear. The only time underwear is really uncomfortable is when you’re getting an erection and can’t pull it out.

  • Uniqlo Airism were pretty good but I'm liking the Step Ones better, but not so much the price and most of the colours are bit 'fluoro' for my tastes but otherwise they are great jocks.

i have severe autism and feel everything intense, spent 1000s experimenting with different underwear settling on these

Patagonia Essential 6 Inch Boxer 32550
Patagonia Essential 6 Inch Boxer Brief 32560
Calvin Klein Core Modal Stretch Boxer Brief NB1797
Calvin Klein Body Modal Boxer Briefs - 3 Pack NB1427
    TaniUSA SilkCut Classic Boxer Brief

    • I feel your pain lol. Am on the spectrum myself. I have also spent hundreds on different brands/pairs of underwear only to try them on then never wear them again. I have found Jockey to be my go to brand. Obviously this is personal preference. I prefer the briefs to the trunks. I find Jockey to fit well in all the right places and are supportive rather than restrictive. Bare in mind though, I normally wear size small in clothing and other underwear but am size M in Jockey so would advise to upsize.

  • I highly recommend Knobby.

Comfiest undies I've tried (most of the brand's you can get at Kmart and Big W).

They're the quick drying material which makes them great for summers.

It's a subscription service, so for $20 you get a new pair with a new design on it, or you can order previous designs.

They're also an Aussie company which I'm trying to support more.
