$10 Wilson Early Bird CBD Parking January 2012 (MEL/SYD)

260

Just received the following email about early bird parking special for January 2012. Seems decent if you park in the CBD anyway.

A Super Summer Special from Wilson Parking

Why swelter on public transport this summer? Take advantage of the quiet roads, and travel to work in comfort, knowing you will pay just $10 for your parking. That's right, Wilson Parking has all day parking in the CBD for just $10 from now until the end of January.

All you need to do to claim your $10 earlybird parking is pre-book your parking online with Wilson Parking's Book a Bay. You can even plan ahead and book your whole week of parking in one go, for the same low price.

See below for the full list of car parks offering the $10 earlybird rate. You can click directly on the car park name to be taken to the booking page.

can I please ask where in docklands can you park for 5 dollars a day?

Yer where is this? Tell us tell us tell us!!! :)

    • Hi guys. $5 car parking at Docklands is at Habourtown. $5 for every 24 hour period (any day). Note: this is not the Costco car park but at the multi-level car park across the road next to it.

      • Yep. Thats exactly the place.
Get the carparking.info iphone app. it shows prices and distance to places.
Guys, as ozb do the research before you buy/pay.

        • How long to walk into the CBD?

        • You could walk but I wouldnt.
Take a tram or free City Circle tram.

      • it is the big red car park building…always use this

  • hmmm, strange…. I tried to book from 11am to 3pm for a day and it doesn't allow me saying no slots available for that time but when I book from 9am to 3pm, I get through!!!

Also, I have a query with regards to exit time - if I book till 3pm and need to leave by 1:30pm can I exit without issues, because T&C seems to imply there is a one hour grace period?

    • +1

I think it's an early bird special, so you probably need to be in by a certain time.

Also I think the grace period is for entry, exit doesn't matter. I've booked several times and left earlier without issue.

    • Can you not read the "early bird" in the title. Sigh.

Was trying to check this too…

Earlybird: Entry between 6:00am and 10:00am, exit between 3:00pm and 7:30pm. Not valid public holidays.
The usual price for this is $16 so if the timing suits, you're saving $6.

      • Thanks for the info. Makes sense now.

  • Awesome. I park at 150 Lonsdale heaps.
