Unfortunately it raised it priced by $50, but comparing to what the rest of Australia is doing, this is nothing.

Kind of glad I just went with a 3600 rather than waiting. This is a bit of a joke.
only bad if cpu is the only thing you required. if you are building a high end machine, getting parts slowly has always been the game.
You be stuck at the cpu or gpu regardless.
Then if one part is DOA you have a hard time saying that months later. You may have to go to the manufacturer.

I bought a 3950X from a generous dude for $650 instead and the thing is smashing everything I'll throw at it! All core overclock at ~4350 and rock solid.

Yeah true! I'm also subscribed to some discord servers but they seem to heavily lean to US sites or amd.com itself which is kind of lame. Anyhow by the time I wake up in the morning they're all gone… I haven't found any that scan the AU retailers. 😔

hoenstly i only need the 3600, since i only play 1440p, but building pc bug caught me, so im going crazy building.
@sAmiZZle: nice! Newegg releases stock slowly and randomly all the time. Whenever they did at $458, i could never get one, so i gave up, and went with 5800x at $606.
