Where are your skins from?
Where are they processed?
Are the boots hand cut, hand stitched, hand glued in Australia?
Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

    I was one of the ozbarginers who gave this company a chance despite all the bad feedback in past deals and found this product to be very low quality. I sent email after email and there was no response form this company from any of my concerns. You just have to read through the past deals to get a feel for the type of company you are dealing with.

          Thank you for calling this out. Really terrible for this store to use COVID as an excuse. It sounds like they would have had difficult times regardless due to poor customer service.

    • i bought from them last week- tried to call them but they never answer their phone and never reply to their voice mails! Despite calling within business hours listed on their website- it just goes straight to voicemail then nothing…

    These guys are shadey and have horrible customer service.

    Also, despite sending you to the Ugg Australia site, you'll receive shoes branded Made by Ugg (per the title of the advert). Don't buy them if you're looking for the brand name.

    So many poor experiences from this company get highlighted every time they post. It's a shame to see that from a local Aussie company too.

As we have been hand-crafting our boots for almost 4 decades, during this period we have had many different types of boots all made in the same tannery in Laverton, with the same quality control.

        Hi mate, I would also love to support this business but due to the negative feedback received I won't be doing it either. I would happily pay a premium too for Australian made stuff.

        If you legitimately have a new customer service department, I think that's great and long overdue. Perhaps a post in the forums to declare as such, and maybe ask people who had a bad experience/still waiting for replacements/whatever to come forward again and you will help them is a good idea. When you post your next bargain, refer to the forum post and openly acknowledge the shortcomings of previous customer service issues.

        That way, you can be seen to and believed to be actually working to maintain a happy customer base, rather than just selling more stuff.

      Hey JakeZ in their defence the whole brand thing is a complex issue, technically there is no ugg "brand" in Australia as it's meant to be a common word that can't be branded. Overseas it's completely different and Australian manufacturers basically got shafted.

      • The issue isn't the Ugg brand, it's that they direct you to their premium website but sell you a different brand. It's like buying a ticket in a Qantas sale and, when you arrive at the airport, you're flying Jetstar.

    I purchased from these guys during covid last year it might have taken 2 weeks to arrive but they are great quality and I wear them daily around the house no problems from me

    I grabbed a pair of scuffs from these blokes last year. I usually burn through a pair of slippers a year but these are well built and there's hardly any sign of wear as yet so I reckon they'll actually get through a 2nd winter… Only negative from me is that they're a little heavy for my tastes, but that's probably why I haven't killed them yet :-D

    My experience from a previous deal. Came fairly quickly, but item didn't really match what I'd purchased.

    Photo was the black with white soles with Ugg Australia branding, as per this deal thumbnail.
    Received was a black pair, with black sole, with "OPAL UGG" branding.
    Would have followed up and returned but so many others were reporting difficulty dealing with support/returns it felt like too much effort.
    Product had very thin hyde around the stitching in the back of the boot; one worse than the other which opened up to a big hole within a few uses.
    Personally I'd not buy sight unseen again.
