The good: These headphones look great and sound excellent (the Sony XM4s sound mushy by comparison).

The bad: noise cancelling is not as good as the competition, they aren't as comfortable for long periods.

The ugly: Over the course of about 30 months of ownership I needed two warranty returns, and one day I pulled them out of my bag and they had snapped just like this. No impact, didn't drop them, they just snapped. It's a known design flaw, and the new model (the PX7) has a different arm design.

That said, they sound and look so much better than their competitors that I'm on the lookout for a cheaper set of PX7s to replace them.

    • Yet another B&W product with abysmal built quality. Their customer service dept in Australia is absolutely the worst. Buy at your own risk.

    • oh dear. I've had miine for about 18 months now. All good but it sounds like I need to budget for a new pair of cans in the next year…..

      • It does say something about how good they sound that I'm still thinking about the new model despite my bad experiences with them.

        • Yes, the sound quality is awesome. I might have to have an accident with them though prior to the 2 year warranty mark…..

I have had mine for several years, use them regularly and have had no problems. A good buy if this is what you need.
