    They would send out the wrong item (e.g. expansion instead of the game itself) and their customer service is very messy (e.g. order sent out several days after order has been cancelled). But ultimately they compensated me well for the trouble (i.e. discount on final purchase via refund).

  Really dodgy according to Product Review. Bad rep, and you can't tell me that the (recent) 5-star reviews look legit.

    When you filter the reviews to verified customers, their score is 1.7/5

    And the ten most recent 5 star reviews are all from accounts that have only reviewed this store

    Edit: scratch that, the entire first page of 5 star reviews are from accounts that have only ever reviewed this store and none of them are verified customers.

  Anecdotally, I've used these guys over the last 3 years or so;

  These guys are generally the cheapest price in Aus.
  Ive always gotten my orders…eventually, and thats where the main problem is for all the complaints.

  They are legitimate, always responded to queries, you just need to have patience when dealing with them.

  My experience from this deal was fine - ordered Thursday night, shipped Friday, arrived Monday (today). The board game was in a big box too so it didn't get damaged.

    My experience was nearly the same, the box arrived today and Wingspan was inside but the other game I ordered was not. I sent off an email enquiry so hopefully it gets resolved. I really want to like this store as their prices are good.

  I haven't ever bought anything from these guys
  I think if you place an order, you are likely to receive your order safe and sound

  It is perhaps the minority that have troubles that post the bad reviews. From the reviews it's when things go wrong, that he becomes most uncommunicative. His website says email replies in 1-2 days, but there have been reviews stating 1-2 weeks with no communication.

  Secondly his store is the only one with reported issues on boardgame oracle, presumably because he had been identified as placing fake reviews on his competitors website/ Facebook/ Google reviews

  Assuming that most of his competitors are small businesses, the effects of his fake negative reviews could be devastating.

  For that reason alone I prefer not to purchase from him to save a few dollars. But that's just me 😊
