Why not just use Bitwarden, it's free and open source.

    • Haven't used Bitwarden so I can't compare, but I've heard its name mentioned in the same context as KeePass, which is what I use and is also free and open source.

I find KeePass really really good, for everything except for its UI, which is a little lacklustre.

    • Didn't know about bitwarden but will switch now. Thanks

      • Even at $10py, bitwarden is a bargain.

        • I’m new to Bitwarden, quick question, I have a website in mobile browser Safari that I check daily, I have two accounts, it keeps suggesting auto filling the first one unless I go into bitwarden and select the other one. Do you know if you can make bitwarden choose one to show up as priority? Just to save some extra time?

@Edamamme: I don’t use BitWarden currently, but a fairly foolproof way would be to change the URL of the one you don’t want to autofill so it doesn’t match the site (add an X to the site URL or something), so when you browse to the page only the one you want to use will ever match.

Might be a better way to do it, but that would work.

@Smigit: Hey thanks for the reply, this will do just fine for me! Great tip much appreciated!

Browsers have all this built-in for free already. iPhones do too. They can even be cross-platform. What are we missing that's worth paying extra for?

    • They can even be cross-platform.

Can Chrome’s password manager be used on Edge or Firefox?

      • Additionally on iOS standalone ones work with applications, not just the browser.

  • The latest update of iCloud for Windows now allows for the syncing of Safari passwords to Chrome browsers. It's free :)

    • Google Chrome is a botnet

A browser made by world’s most pervasive advertiser and tracker is meant to respect privacy?

Can someone post about the product in the title please. (NordPass Password Manager in case you've forgotten where you are)

I actually came in to this thread to read about the product NordPass Password Manager, not all the free alternatives. I am already using NordVPN and I am interested in this product and whether there are any issues.

    Peace out :)

Haha, fair request, but I don't think it's unreasonable that you'll get reviews on alternatives (that are possibly better) in the comments!

  • is this cheapest so far i reckon i have seen cheaper than this price by Nordpass!
