Tefal Everest frying pans on sale at Amazon AU, seem to have good reviews and made in France.

Was going to buy some cheapo $20 frypans but thought I'd give these a go since they were on sale.

From what i can tell these are on the tefol website and the bigger versions have the embossing on the bottom, see the 32 cm one for example

        Done. Reported. Thanks.

Just missed out on the 32cm.. Had it ready to purchase.. Refreshed the page and gone.. Out of stock.

  • Thanks OP!

  • RRP prices seem inflated targets RRP for 32cm is $69…

  • $59 now

  • Only 28cm left in stock

  • Was going to buy some cheapo $20 frypans

Never buy cheap no brand pans. A pan like this tefal will always be the better bargain (provided you treat non stick with an ounce of care)

    • Yeah Ive had good ones but never understood they can be overheated, so always did really quick. Been mainly using stainless steel at the moment, but was going to get some non-stick for ease of use on eggs in the morning and such.

  • Surely there is no significant amount of Titanium in the actual cooking surface?

Titanium is a terrible metal to cook with because its so crazy efficient at conducting heat.

If I try to cook anything in my hiking pots it'll be burnt in seconds.

    • they'll be thin pots. easy to get hot spots on because it's 0 to 100 in no time where the burner is..
efficient heat conducting in a pan sounds like a positive to spread heat around - some mass in the base should smooth out the 0-100 problem.
