I pre-ordered super mario 3d world from gamesmen after having issues with very late pre orders via amazon in my previous orders. Just wondering if they deliver release date. I am in VIC by the way

This. Once they post it out it is out of their hands. Since AusPost still has very slow delivery, I wouldn’t count on it.
No. They stay on the safer side and with the last few titles they came days after release.
I think Nintendo embargo until the day before and Australia Post are slower than that.
I used to live about 500m from The Gamesmen. Lazy late night online shopping and I chose to get an Xbox game delivered - it took Auspost almost two weeks.
Even if they do normally it's a total crapshoot given postage times since covid. I've got platinum level at EBgames so when this happens I just buy a copy there and use the 7-day return policy to take it back when my cheaper copy arrives in the mail.
