      I'd also like to know this. Is there a huge difference for your casual gamer just looking to fight with his wife over why the rice is burning?

      Got Overcooked 2 last time it was on sale. Biggest draw for me vs Overcooked 1 was online multiplayer

      If you want online multiplayer, you need to go with Overcooked 2. (FWIW, personally I think this is a game much better suited to couch co-op, so I've never played it online)

      If you think you will love the game (I believe you can try it for free this week, so try it and see for yourself!), I suggest going with Overcooked 1 first, and then getting Overcooked 2 later (and hopefully cheaper!). Overcooked 2 introduces some new mechanics (like throwing ingredients), and more recipes etc. So I would play through Overcooked 1 first and then play through Overcooked 2.

      If you only want one version of the game, then I guess go with Overcooked 2.

    Thanks. For my 6 year old, Overcooked might be good enough then. He doesn't play online multiplayer.

  I agree, this is the most stressful game I've ever played with other people. I believe the new special edition tries to fix this and make it a bit easier. If u want this style of game, I'd go for Moving Out, it's less stressful but still has that intense feel to it.
