I would't claim "This beats the Big W deal by $1.74." because BigW is selling the Lexar S50 8GB while GG is selling Lexar V10.

What is the difference? Lexar S50 has a sliding cover (no more missing caps) PLUS antimicrobial plastics while the V10 comes with a protective cap.

Point taken but I think a majority of the population wouldn't mind as long as it has 8GB capacity.

    • wait, which one is better?

      • I would say they have the same read/write speed….and color. Just different packaging.

The one with the sliding cap is generally going to be more desirable. I have so many capless USB drives, I now keep a lookout for suitably sized caps on computer equipment like USB WiFi dongles, etc.

I quite like the Udisk USB drives with the rotating stainless steel thingy on them. http://image.made-in-china.com/4f0j00WCGEepvdbhkz/Pen-Drive-…

Anyone that posts that they keep a lookout for suitably sized caps needs to get out more. Except here in Melbourne where it was summer this morning and sh!t hole sydney weather in the evening.

    Merry xmas:)

Crap weather in Melbourne is Melbourne weather, not Sydney weather. Don't say nasty things about Sydney. :)

  • Can someone please confirm if the $88 Blu Ray Player is really for the model BDPS380?

  • do u have a formal print out about the price of the lexar usb 8gb at $7 for good guy. officework people wont let u get away with price match with proof

  • Now officeworks have lowered their price to $7

  • Looks like the Sony s380 blu-ray player has sold out at my local Good Guys Chatswood store. Rang up this morning and got there midday. Purchased the second last one $85 cash. Good deal. Considering the price at DSE was $99 and JB was $129.

Stupid asian sales person didn't want to give a discount for cash because he said they were already loosing money. That was until I mentioned the less for cash slogan. Then he only gave me just $1 discount. I then got another staff member who gave me $3 off which is better than nothing.
