  • Any deals for basic web hosting?

    • +1

Sure! Use code G25VC8DOLP on checkout on the Extreme Plan here: https://billing.fadedservers.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=51 to get it for $2.50/mo for 12 months! Code only has two uses, so be quick. :)

      • Thanks! I used one of the uses, I was just on the market to get web hosting for my company to launch a new website :)

        • Do you have someone to build your website?

          • +1

            @Logical: Yeah, I'm a web developer myself :)

      • Any chance for a new code to get this deal?

        • Added an additional 2 uses for you on that same code. :)

  • what are the specs of the server instance that is given?

    • The servers are running on Datacenter grade SSD's and 2x E5 2687W v2's, however, under request, we're able to transfer to a 7700k free of charge, we don't typically do this as we have concluded the E5 2687W v2 does perform better as each instance has access to all 16 cores and 32 threads.

  • What are your current rates for a domain… Dot com and Dot com dot au? Is there a promotion for domain transfers that I see on your website? Cheers

  • Are you guys related to "Rippa Web Solutions" as you have an almost identical website…..

  • Easy account setup, however the management panel has degraded from very slow to purely unresponsive in the last hour. I was able to copy files and attempted make config changes but could not restart the service, now the panel won’t load at all.

Holding off on a neg until tomorrow but it’s not looking great.

    • Support ticket was resolved quickly, all up and running well now. Great turnaround!

Fairly easy to setup. Paypal payment option. $5month coupon was honored.
I will update if there are any performance issues with this Valheim server hosting but so far so good!

    • Thank you!

We really appreciate your feedback, if you have any issues, feel free to post about it here along with opening a ticket so we'll be able to assist.

  • Signed up, the interface took a bit to figure out how to set up the server.
Otherwise, great price will let you know in a few weeks if the service is any good.

    • Thanks for your feedback bravotwo, we appreciate it! We’ve recently run an update with a dark theme with a more intuitive interface, feel free to give us feedback on the new panel.

  • Server works. Quick sign up, severs running about 3 mins after paying. Cheers OP

Mmmmm server doesn't work today. Not promising. And support ticket timed out when submitting.

      • We noticed there was a Valheim update that prevents your server from being joinable, simply run an update for your server. For tickets timing out, try again, we did have some maintenance on the billing panel in the last two days.

        • Day 4: Server was moved to different IP, no email sent, had to get told by my users it's down. Didn't even realise my server was migrated until I went to copy paste it and it's different. I would expect an email at the least not just a message on the platform. I have my doubts.

Anyone has some experience using this and have thoughts on the lag? Currently with G-Portal, and the lag can be pretty bad with 3-4 people playing sometimes.
Would consider moving if this provider does it better

    • I'm also interested in this. I'm with AussieServerHosts, but we're also noticing lag with 4+ players. I'd like to set up the mods to increase the data rate, but it's not easy with the access they provide.

Also, does anyone know what access they have to metrics? I am currently capturing CPU, disk, network, & RAM from AussieServerHosts and would like to continue to do so to have an idea of why the server might be having issues.
