Looks like a good deal and the Cab Sav is normally a really good one to take to a dinner at $20, so at $12 it seems great. Not the worlds best wine connoisseur so I may be off the mark, though 45% off is 45% off.

French wine typically does not list the grape varietal on the labels, so wouldn’t place a great weighting on these wines being fancy and French. Probably overpriced at RRP, and average wine made for export.
At that price point even with a discount, a comparable Aussie cab sauv will likely be much nicer
