  • I bought this last year and it's very big and looks awesome but its everything but comfy. I seat itself is extremely hard after sitting for a while. I sold mine and bought an office type chair which is much better for the same price. Pity coz I really loved the size and looks of this

Edit: Also price on my end shows as $469 for the blue and white

    • I'm also looking for a office type chair that could do for gaming. Could.you share your purchase?

      • i ended up getting a secretlab chair during their black friday sale and honestly it was a great purchase.

      • Check out the Ikea Jarvfjallet. I replaced my gaming chair (Onex GX3) with that and its miles better, even just the quality of the parts used (and cheaper too)

        • Ikea Jarvfjallet

Really, never tried this one but I remember I tried Ikea office chairs years ago, I found that not comfortable and cushion very thin. May be this one is difference.

        • Jarvfjallet doesn't seem to have any proper support and the nylon mesh is going to go loose very fast. Sorry but I don't think it compares to any gaming chairs.

      • I ended up buying this:

        http://www.officeway.com.au/products/office-chairs/executive…

Very happy with the chair. Its not as nice and bulky as the Anda but its really comfy. Had it for around 8 months now and its still sits like a new chair. Very happy with it.

Gaming chairs are the biggest marketing gimmick. Think about it: what is a gaming chair supposed to offer that an office chair can't? Just buy an ergonomic office chair of similar price range. Ergohuman is a good place to start.

      • Do not buy a gaming chair, one of the biggest regrets ever and I barely have buyers remorse or get over it fairly quickly. Find a place where you can try ergonomic chairs you really wont know what you like until you actually try. I have since learned that pretty much any $100 from officeworks is more comfortable than any gaming chair.

If you want a really comfortable chair, that is adjustable and will last, that isn't a gaming chair scam you're going to have to accept chairs will start from $700+

    • Oh and another issue I had with the Anda is the height of the chair.. I have a nice corner office desk and it was so high that my legs would actually touch the desk.. I swapped out the nice wheels on the chair for my kids gaming chair wheels and this fixed the issue.. But something to keep in mind.

  • A LOT of reviews have pretty much confirmed that it's more comfortable to get an office chair for gaming than a gaming chair, and especially not at a stupid price. Go with an office ergonomics chair and you won't look back, unless you're a try hard trying to be cool (Which a chair won't help).

  • I have this chair (purchased from JBHiFi for $399) and unlike the first commenter, find it to be very comfortable. I am retired, use it for hours on end and have never experienced it being hard to sit on. I've had a number of chairs over the years, including an ergonomic office chair, but this one has by far been the most comfortable for long term use.

BTW, I got the $399 price by calling JB's and placing a phone order. They offered it to me for $100 off without me even asking for a discount!

    • I tried at JB I find it very comfortable but a bit bulky, I am not sure why "hard to sit on".

      • I meant that the seat is hard. For me it was like sitting on the floor. I can see the benefit of using a very dense foam as this is more likely to last longer but I just didn't enjoy it. Its an awesome chair and was very sad to sell it but comfort is more important and I felt this seat lacked that. Apart from it being a very dense foam and the height being a bit high on the lowest setting (manage to fix that) it really is a quality chair. Also note sitting on it for 5min vs 8 to 12h is a huge difference. Go to JB and sit on it for at least 30min to 60min. Its weird but just play on your phone. Only way you'll know if you ass falls asleep or not lol

I tried it at JB again today, I know what you mean the seat is hard but not really like sitting on the floor XD

    Hey,

Before you buy a chair like this I recommend the Gaming Nexus review and commentary on computer and gaming chairs.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Yhc6mmdJC4&ab_channel=Gamer…

Its long and has lots of details about market failure in this space but you can skip to the conclusion.

TLDR: all overpriced, all the same, all basically crap.

    Kev
