Robot Vacuum Review/Recommendations

Hi All,

I am looking to buy Robot vacuum for around $400 to $600 max.
Any recommendations? (for tile flooring)

    Get one with LIDAR Navigation.
    Xiaomi Roborock S5MAX or S6 Pure can be had at your price range if you hold out for a sale.

    Agreed, Purchased a Samsung from Aldi and it was useless. I have the Ecovacs Deebot T8 AIVI, navigation is great and haven't had to vacuum or mop in months. The LIDAR navigation is very precise and wouldn't get one without it.

    Been using Roborock S5max for over 6 months. Does the basic job pretty well.

    However, if you have mirrored wardrobes, you may face issues as discussed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/gpnetm/mirror_iss…

    If you have similar sized (identical dimension) rooms and robot goes into repositioning mode in one of those rooms after attaching or removing mop (or any movement that triggers repositioning), it might locate itself in a different similar sized rooms, thereby resulting on lot of map overwrite.

    Haven't tried other robots so unsure if they face same issues.

      Does s5 Max - clean and mop at a same time or it requires a separate run for mop?

          Can you leave water tank connected to begin with and set in app for 2 runs? ie first run vacuum and 2nd run mop.

            @sydneybargainer: No, can't do that. Mop attachment once fitted drags alongside every run. So you would need to attach it for a mop run and remove it for just vacuum. Roborock S7 seems to have auto adjusting mop bracket and will not drag on floor for a vacuum only run.

    I’ve got a 360 s7

    It’s been pretty good.

    The mop is pretty average (equivalent to very gently wiping a sponge on the floor) but the vacuum is good especially in the carpet
