  • Price in title, friendo.

    EDIT: There ya go.

    • Seen the mistake as soon as I posted haha, first post :P

      • No probs.

Pretty swish looking machine, definitely way more than I wanna spend or actually need. But after looking elsewhere, it does seem a decent sale price.

        • +1

AFAIK acer nitro 5 is highly recommended too, was going to get it myself using the latitude go card but I'm still waiting to be approved so will likely miss out on it unfortunately.

  • I have a Nitro 5, it's great but I got it for $800.

    Would not recommend for $1800.

    Wait for Rtx3060.

  • fyi the new Gigabyte G5 kc is also that price; comes with rtx 3060 but i5 which is still ok; can be had for about $1650 with ebay 10% off codes

  • I just bought the Nitro 5 -
    i5-10300H
    512gbNvme/16gb/GTX1650Ti/1920x1080
JB-HiFi yesterday for $1291 (Pricematched the 5% OW pricematch on themselves)
It can take 2 x Nvme SSD, PLUS an additional 2.5" SSD. An outstanding laptop for the price.

    • This was under a thousand last year @ Harvey Norman.

      • Now that would've been a great purchase! Im pretty impressed by this laptop. Im not a gamer and have zero interest in the gaming side of things, but the specs and expansion capabilities won me over.

I installed a 1tb Crucial P1 nvme as my primary, moved the original WD 512gb to the secondary, plus added my old 512gb Samsung 860 SSD 2.5 to the 2.5 slot. Added another 8gb ram.

My last laptop purchase was 2012, so this should see me through another decade 🤣

        • Nice, was the cover easy to take off? I’m thinking of upgrading ram to 16gb I thought it would have had the plastic panel that unscrews like some other nitros but this ones just one piece.

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: Yes, easy, approx 12 screws, unclip the back, full access to everything in one go.
Will be great for cleaning the fans etc later down the track too.

            • @ryanpowell: Good idea, it has dust defender but I don’t think the fans ever spin in reverse because I never use it for more than 3 hours, I’ve had it about 4 months so maybe 6 month mark I‘ll take it apart upgrade ram, clean etc.

  • This cost more than a similar version with an rtx3060ti?

  • i personally would not go for any 2xxxx series knowing a bit more wait will get me 3xxx laptop in the same price range!

  • Just incase anyone wants this as an Ex-Demo for $1,699 link below. but $100 more for new is probably the better deal.

  • In for one! got local stock so it's all good, thanks OP this was just right for the purpose and the price too. Almost spent $2k on a similar spec HP omen at jb hifi
