  • Who are these made by? Rebadged version of an OEM of another mainstream brand?

      Who are these made by?

They don't say on their website…

Makes you wonder what they are trying to hide…

    • I saw people saying one of these EKO's were a rebadged LG. Not sure about which one it was.

    1.07 Billion Colours

You can't trust these specs. I only counted 1.069999999 billion colours. Oh wait, I forgot to count red. All good.

    is this oled?

    • That's a no for this price.

    • +4

Yes it's Only Lcd Eko Display.

  • How many nits? It has HDR but if the nits are low, HDR will be useless?

    • +2

At this price, probably 250-350 cd/m2, no where near bright enough for HDR.

  • No mounting bracket?

  • Why is this link not working, is it just me

    • +1

I just spoke to big w help about this. It appears to be just you.

Before people start clutching their branded TV like it's dying, EKO is a decent TV brand and their Android just got the latest Google update.

    • Do you get YouTube video pauses once or twice a day. Happens with me,did a reset but couldn't figure out what's the issue. Sometimes HDMI arc doesn't turn on the TV straightway. I have chromecast connected to that and have to use TVs remote to turn the thing on coz Chromecast remote doesn't always turn the TV on. Don't know whether it's the TV or the Chromecast which is playing up.

I got the EKO 65" UHD Smart Tv version (no android) and bought the Google TV+Chromecast on sale. Very happy with it all together for the price. Would recommend a sound bar with these TVs though.

  • does anyone know what is on the back? like how many HDMI ports etc.
i cant see it mentioned anywhere?

also does it have disney+ ??

also does it have disney+ ??

It's android, so you can just install it from the app store.

      • cheers mac

  • Bring back the EKO QLED panels, then i'll bite!

  • The 50" at $399 also seems like damn good value

    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/eko-50-4k-ultra-hd-android-t…

    • If you can find stock. I can't.

      • Managed to grab one tonight at Kwinana, WA. Bloody long drive though.

  • JBHIFI Hitachi QLED 65" 4K Ultra HD Android QLED TV $995 and the 58" is $895 (the 65" is the bargin here or go for the EKO 75" @999 if bigW has stock)

  • I think this is the same one as EKO's frameless QLED. https://catch.com.au/product/blaupunkt-58-4k-ultra-hd-google… they are from the same supplier linked above with the same frameless marketing design but it doesn't say that it is QLED.

    • TVs that have Dolby vision & audio seem to have replaced QLED as the advertising MumboJumbo and I don’t know why or what it means but the colour & audio on these TVs is amazing!

    • This TV isn't a 'QLED' or frameless though?
