  Hi dear, this strip light is controlled by IR Remote. You need to use the remote to point at the IR Receiver/dot on the adaptor, then you can control the strip light.
  However, these strip lights you mentioned are controlled by RF Remote. You can control the strip light from any direction. In addition to that, their led chip quantities are different.

  Some LED strip lights are covered by epoxy as a form of waterproofing, usually they end up with around an IP65 rating when this is the case. For most interior applications this isn't necessary and waterproof light strips are more expensive as the epoxy isn't free. Also for the strips manufactured in China, weight impacts the shipping price quite a lot so they're usually more expensive here than they are in China.

  Hi dear, that is correct. Our led strip lights are non-waterproof now. In the future, we will add waterproof strip lights in our shop.
