These lights are absolute crap. Rated for 1000 lumens but couldn't even beat a true 300 lumen light on my bike. The light spread is so central you can't see anything on the sides. Also had a purple tint rather than white light.

The light spread is so central you can't see anything on the sides.

Might be good then for those old guys in lycra that ride along Beach Rd…

    • Also had a purple tint rather than white light.

That's the UV light that brightens all the white things it shines on.

    • I got these and very happy with the purchase. Yet to be run over at night. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07T7G1F8F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_f…

  • Why are these so expensive?

    • Really? Looks like a pretty good price. What would you pay?

      • Was talking about bicycle lights in general. They should be under $10, IMHO.

        • Hmmm clearly you know nothing about bike lights.
