        Don't be so fast to mock advanced fans - they're not that common. You don't see too many of them at a Collingwood game, for example. ;-)

    I think I saw something like this at a mall-marketeer's table…

    It didn't look very stable… and one of the legs collapsed as I looked at it. :-/

    Would you trust your computer to a device you haven't taken the time to see in RealLife(tm)…?

      got one to try.

      but I don't plan to use this as a table table, but rather on my bed. its just a more stable thing compared to my lap. it doesnt have far to fall in that regard, but good advice (don't put drinks on it :) )

    Have a look at these too from our range, in the N700's case, it's fan/speakers/soft base/feed to prevent laptop from slipping off

    Bit more expensive but for those wanting to sit in bed, sofa etc it's pretty handy. We've even seen parents use them for kids and even for road trips in the car/camping etc as an easy way to keep them amused with laptop/netbook with movies on it for them.

          Got 2 of these at a clearance sale last year @ $30 ea.. (yes, the N700).
          They are brilliant & the audio is just what every laptop needs as well.

    Bought one of these a few months ago from the same shop, the quality is not that good. It broke after a while and apart from that it is very hard to use. I don't recommend it to anyone!
